We are so glad you’ve taken a moment to learn more about us. The Apostolic Church of Las Vegas traces its roots all the way back to the day of Pentecost in the Book of Acts, when God’s church was first established. Here in Las Vegas, our story began in 1962, when our founding pastor, Bro. Dallas Mefford, followed God’s call to establish our church here in Las Vegas.
From that foundation, the Apostolic Church of Las Vegas has stood as a light in this city for generations. We are a One God church, committed to living and teaching the Apostles’ doctrine as revealed in Scripture. We would love to meet you and worship with you and learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Built on the Apostles’ Doctrine
At the Apostolic Church of Las Vegas, we are steadfast in our commitment to the Apostles’ Doctrine. The Bible declares that the church is “built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone” (Ephesians 2:20). That foundation is the anchor of our faith and the guide for how we live, worship, and serve.
We believe in being a Bible-based church. For us, the Word of God is not just an ancient text — it is living, relevant, and essential for every generation. In Acts the 2:39 Peter continues his sermon by telling us that this “promise is unto you and your children and to all them that are afar off”. We know that the Scriptures hold the answers to life’s greatest questions and point us to the only source of true salvation: Jesus Christ.
Because of this, we place great importance on searching the Scriptures, growing in understanding, and aligning our lives with God’s Word. Our desire is that every person who walks through our doors finds not just a church, but the pathway to eternal hope through the gospel.
